Intimacy and love were not looked down upon and viewed freely, while Ouronovists themselves were permitted to have as many romantic partners as they pleased, so long as they were happy and continued to positively serve the community. This generally made most Ouronovists hard, diligent workers. This collectivist way of life stemmed from the belief that everyone was born from the one true Origin Star, thus emphasizing the belief that everyone in the universe was connected and should strive together for prosperity and love for the future, hand-in-hand. The Ouronovists were collectivist in nature, believing that every individual is part of a greater whole and that everyone should play a part in helping the community. The followers of the religion were called Ouronovists, and the adjective used to refer to things relating to the religion was "Ouronovic". Across vast stellar differences, the will of Ourateus sustained the hope, the light, and the life of mankind against the darkness of the universe."
